I can’t receive a verification text code from my stock broker on my iPhone.

I can’t seem to receive a verification text from my stockbroker on my iPhone. I try to verify my phone number in a verification code never arrives. I’ve checked black contacts and don’t believe that that number is blocked at all. This is only started happening since my last update.

Certain Verification Codes Not Getting Through I don't receive text verification codes from secure sites like Ring and Coinbase. Other codes from Apple or my Bank do get through. Have checked notification settings, turned off device etc. Something is blocking these sites from sending verification codes.

Verification Texts When I download an app like PayPal or Uber that requires you to enter your phone number in order to get a verification code, I never get sent one. However, if there is a call or email option I do get a call/email with the code and it works. I don't feel like it is a carrier problem either because my mom, dad, and sister, have never had this problem. Any help to help would be much appreciated.

Third party verification codes I have a brand new iPad Pro 11 set up from my old iPad automatically. While I can receive text messages ok, I cannot receive verification codes sent by text from certain third party apps and sites (AT&T and my bank, so far). Someone suggested doing a reset, but that seem extreme since I’d lose so much data. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

It sounds like you are unable to receive SMS text messages from a specific number on your iPhone. We’d like to help however we can.

To start, are you able to receive messages from other contacts without issue? If not, follow this:

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If only this phone number or contact are affected, then use the resource here to ensure the phone number is not blocked:

Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
