Possible to remap eject key?

My Apple keyboard no longer works as intended. I do, however, have a vintage Apple keyboard (model M2452) from my Blue & White G3. There are 2 optical drives and it would be easier/quicker to open them with a key command. I would like to use F12 for upper drive and ALT-F12 for lower drive. Is there a way to remap the eject key since this keyboard doesn't have one? I actually like the feel of this older keyboard over the newer style and think i'll keep using it.
