You Guys,
For more information:
Honestly, just got my iPhone 12 pro max. Was so exited to check out the camera on this thing. To my disappointment, it’s just not up to the price point or the technology that’s promised. My brothers Samsung for some reason just blows my IPhone out of the water. Maybe I got the first wave of the phones. I just don’t feel like there is absolutely any “Wow” factors like you mentioned. I am very disappointed
I can absolutely second this. I have created from an X. I do notice a little longer battery life. But that is the only difference I’m noticing with improvement. I’ve not been able to take a decent picture with this phone. And based on all these comments I’m seeing, this looks like it’s going to be more than just a simple fix
Same issue and I just got mine as well a couple days ago. It seems that once my phone finished uploading from the iCloud my pictures became blurry. Seriously waiting for thanksgiving to pass so I can go into the Apple Store. This is unacceptable. Hopefully Apple can figure this out before more upset customers return/replace their phone.
My brother just got the 12pro max. Upon test driving his cameras I noticed the same issues. Once you take a picture and try zooming in on them the quality distorts almost immediately. Neither my 12pro or his 12pro max shoot sharp pictures. I guess it’s not faulty phones, just crappy cameras
Hey MrJrHdez what happened to your mobile, did you raise it with apple support? I got my 12 pro last week and i am having same issue. When i click photo and zoom it becomes pixelated and looks creepy. I have discussed with apple support team they did diagnose and also asked to restore through itunes.
I have done everything but still they are not convinced if that is the issue or i do not know how to click pictures.
I have the same problem! I just got my phone 4 days ago and was super excited. Sometimes pictures come out good but most of the times they are blurry, I compare them with my iPhone 11 Pro pictures and they are way better.
It comes and goes too, no matter the lighting even with a sunny day pictures come out blurry. Any advice? Thinking of going back to the iPhone 11.
Same problem here on the 12 pro max. Zoomed in on a portrait mode photo and my Pixel 3 Xl portrait mode photos look 1000 times better. So I thought it was only that mode and maybe the lidar was causing it... But even the regular camera does it.
I've done clarity comparisons and it's literally worse than every phone I've had since 2011 or so. No joke.
My camera is also blurry and I was really upset with the quality. My husband has the 11 and his photos are hands down much much better for any given photo situation. It’s not even close, to be honest. Has Apple addressed this situation? Are we all just supposed to live with this tough luck situation? The camera is NOT what it claims to be and I’m surprised there is not more information about this.
Yea there's no way these guys tested the camera. Just don't believe it. With Christmas coming up we need an answer soon. Come on Apple. Don't be Google and wait 6 months to fix your software for your camera!
Hi Guys yesterday i went to apple store with same problem zoom in and battery heating issue. They tested my device and said nothing wrong. So my point is if they had admitted this issues i would have asked for repair or new device but they are not just admitting.
So what i did is requested refund of my iphone 12 pro 256GB.
Good for you! That might be my next move. I had to fight HARD to get a replacement phone since they found no issues with my phone either. I’m going to test that phone and if the photo quality is still bad, I’m going to return it as well (it’s just a shame that I’ve already traded in my 8+)
Yes, exactly... my daughter and I took identical photos with her 11 and my 12, and here were crisp & clear compared to the 12... I’m ****** off because I purposely waited for the 12 for camera improvements!
I had the same issue. I called Apple and they did a virtual diagnostic and said there’s nothing wrong with the camera. I insisted there was until they agreed to exchange the phone (since I had AppleCare). The new phone camera seems to be performing much better.
I contacted apple they ran a diagnostic and found everything fine with the camera but they saw the videos and pictures and agreed there was something wrong with my camera and recommended to exchange phone which I did and my new phone looks so much better
Hi.
Just bought the 12 pro max and took the exact same type of photo. One on my 11 pro max and one on the 12 max in night mode and the 11 nailed it while the 12's background was blurry....not impressed.
