I think i have found the solution to fix it.

To explain my situation.

i'm also affected by the blurry image syndrome on my iphone 12 pro. now for me this issue only occurs on my main camera. the 1x. the wide camera and tele work just fine.

one minute i open the camera app and everything works fine on my screen

and the other all my images are blurry. meaning i cant take photos with my main camera. wide and telephoto work just fine.

my problem is it comes and goes as it pleases and it always occurs when i really want to capture that magic moment with the kids or dog or anything else i want to capture. i wanted to show a buddy of mine the issue but ofcourse in that moment the main camera worked fine. i also i cant replicate it.

What i noticed is that I always have the mute switch on on the left side of my iphone 12 pro.

When I opened up the camera app just now to try to take a pic of our dog and saw it was again blurry/fuzzy/out of focus. :(

I don't know why but when I flipped the mute switch to off it immediately snapped back in to focus.

Now why the mute switch has any relation with taking a sharp image I truly don't know.

If there are any Apple geniuses on here or customer service reps you might want to take a look at this.

To all the people who have the blurry image issues please give my fix a try.

It worked for me!

Honestly, just got my iPhone 12 pro max. Was so exited to check out the camera on this thing. To my disappointment, it’s just not up to the price point or the technology that’s promised. My brothers Samsung for some reason just blows my IPhone out of the water. Maybe I got the first wave of the phones. I just don’t feel like there is absolutely any “Wow” factors like you mentioned. I am very disappointed

Same issue and I just got mine as well a couple days ago. It seems that once my phone finished uploading from the iCloud my pictures became blurry. Seriously waiting for thanksgiving to pass so I can go into the Apple Store. This is unacceptable. Hopefully Apple can figure this out before more upset customers return/replace their phone.

Hey MrJrHdez what happened to your mobile, did you raise it with apple support? I got my 12 pro last week and i am having same issue. When i click photo and zoom it becomes pixelated and looks creepy. I have discussed with apple support team they did diagnose and also asked to restore through itunes.

I have done everything but still they are not convinced if that is the issue or i do not know how to click pictures.

I have the same problem! I just got my phone 4 days ago and was super excited. Sometimes pictures come out good but most of the times they are blurry, I compare them with my iPhone 11 Pro pictures and they are way better.

It comes and goes too, no matter the lighting even with a sunny day pictures come out blurry. Any advice? Thinking of going back to the iPhone 11.

Same problem here on the 12 pro max. Zoomed in on a portrait mode photo and my Pixel 3 Xl portrait mode photos look 1000 times better. So I thought it was only that mode and maybe the lidar was causing it... But even the regular camera does it.

I've done clarity comparisons and it's literally worse than every phone I've had since 2011 or so. No joke.

My camera is also blurry and I was really upset with the quality. My husband has the 11 and his photos are hands down much much better for any given photo situation. It’s not even close, to be honest. Has Apple addressed this situation? Are we all just supposed to live with this tough luck situation? The camera is NOT what it claims to be and I’m surprised there is not more information about this.
