New IPhone XR Photo Problem

Does anyone else on apps if you have to select photos to use, does anyone else have to select specific photos to use? As if, you select photos to use that are saved that are specifically there instead of it showing the full photo album to choose from?

Save is greyed out when transferring photos to hard drive from ipad trying to save photos from ipad to external hard drive using the Lightning USB camera adapter. When I select the photos and try to save them to my hard drive the save button is greyed out. How can I save my photos.

Save Live Photos as Video Missing ios16 For a few years I’ve been saving Live Photos as video on my iPhone. Now that I have iOS16 that feature seems to be gone. Any chance it will come back???

For example this is what shows instead of the whole camera roll and I have to choose photos to use and select.
