Missing massive amounts of stored emails

Suddenly all my email folders are empty. Only stuff from October in them. What happened here?

Check your mail days to sync settings for your mail account.

Example: Settings > Mail > Account > Mail Days to Sync

Lost ALL Saved emails in ALL folders Recently I have noticed that ALL of my emails that I have saved for the last 5 years have disappeared in ALL of my folders. I have 2 gmail emails and the other one is fine. The one in question had all of my tax information, divorce papers, will etc.. in it. Help!!!!!!

Missing emails I sat down to begin work this morning and all my emails from may and june are gone. In fact, when I look at all the emails they appear to be junky ones that were never opened but not deleted. Is there a way to retrieve these missing emails? I've checked spotlight and nothing is set in privacy there. I've checked all the other folders in the mail window and trash and junk. no luck. I have gone to the mailbox menu and chosen synchronize and chosen rebuild. I am now getting new ones but still missing all of the last two months. help!?

Lost emails from gmail folders I noticed yesterday that the majority of emails, some dating back years, have all disappeared from my Gmail folders. I have searched trash, all mail.. nothing. Why has this happened and can I recover them? Thanks

Most email is stored on a server and not a device.
