Average pace is different when uploaded

Hi, I'm new to iWatch and come from a garmin - When i complete a run my iWatch 6 shows me my average pace, but when i upload this to strava or import, the average pace is different (quicker) Meaning if i look in my activity/ fitness app, my activies are different to the infomation sent to Strava or even used via the Iwatch Strava app - has anyone had this?

Apple Watch Series 6, watchOS 7

Hey LouStarz,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you have a new Apple Watch and you're noticing that the pace is different for run when you compare the details with the Strava app. We want to help.

Which watchOS are you running on your Apple Watch? Is it updated? If not, that can help: Update your Apple Watch

Then, check your iOS on your iPhone. If you're not running iOS 14.2, updating would be a good next step: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the data still doesn't match, Contact Apple Support can look into this further.

Hope that helps!
