Tomb Raider game black screen

Upon updating to iOS 14.1, when I try to open the Tomb Raider game, the opening logos appear but then it goes to a black screen. I can still hear the game running in the background. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

This is the original Tomb Raider game from 1996. I downloaded it from the App Store years ago. It was working with a previous version of IOS.

I checked with Apple support and they advise it’s not supported any longer because the game is no longer in the App Store.

Thank you for the suggestion, however, I have an iPad Air, 4th Generation, and it doesn't have a "zoomed" choice. After further reading on this, it's possible the phasing out and removal of flash player from devices, including those using iOS, may have caused this issue.

Hey there,

I had the same issue. To get TR1 running, you need to go into Settings/Display & Brightness/display zoom then select 'Zoomed'.

This will allow the game to play. However, TR2 doesn't work with this fix.
