I deleted my desktop somehow- and I don't know how to restore it!
every time i click on the alias that replaced it, it says the original does not exist!
there's just no hope of finding it!
any help would be appreciated

Yeah, it always has been ... The OS hasn't created a new folder either- I just want to save things to my desktop again
Well, iCloud is where your stuff is, if you turn OFF iCloud Drive make sure you don't lose the stuff.
How much Free Space is on your drive?
I have 42.8 gigs left on my computer and 2.6 gigs left on icloud. What's next?
