How to replace MagSafe charger cable?

I have two cats, both of them are energetic, they love cables, like all other cats.

I don't remember how many cables they have been chewing, but a lot.

So I replaced all my lightning cables with Braided version, it works really well, they can no longer break cables yay.

However, the cable on MagSafe charger is irreplaceable, and it isn't durable enough to survive a night.

MagSafe charger is kind of expensive, I don't want to buy a new one over and over again.

Maybe I have to buy third party chargers as they usually have detachable cable, but I love the overall looking of MagSafe charger.

Question, how do I replace just the cable at a reasonable cost?

Thanks!

Just use one of your braided Lightning cables and plug it into the phone. That can't be much harder than attaching the MagSafe to the phone, and it will charge faster and not get so hot. Also it will be lighter if you use the phone while charging.

If it's been less than 14 days, you can return the MagSafe for a refund.

The MagSafe may be useful if attached to a bracket, such as a in-car mount, so you can just snap the phone to it and use it wirelessly while it charges, but the MagSafe by itself is pointless.
