iPhone 7 audio issues after software update
Since updating to iOS 14.1my iPhone 7 has developed several issues, primarily revolving around the audio systems.
Periodically, I cannot hear anything when I send or receive calls. Nor can whomever I call hear me.
I cannot use my voice record or voice memo apps. It gives me an error message (see attached screenshot)
I cannot use Siri, nor will the Shazam app work properly.
It will work briefly if I do a hard restart - (power plus down volume) but ultimately, it will begin to malfunction within a few hours. I’ve done the hard restart three times today.
I assume it’s a software update issue. None of this was a problem until after the weekend.
Is there a way to undo the update? Wait for the next patch to determine if that will fix it?
