Removing and Deleting a Shared Calender

I have a Shared calender that shows up on my Apple Calender and although I click on Calenders, click on the Calender I want removed and I scroll down and delete it, it is still there and will not delete. I go into the Apple account settings and it does not show up but on my Apple Calender it is right there with my other Shared Calenders
