Large blue circle in Maps

OK, I get it! We need the huge, annoying, large blue circle in Maps. We also need the associated services like Location, time, GPS, blah-blah. We need the ability to diminish the opaqueness or darkness of the silly thing. Is there a way? Thank you.

A simple Google search found the answer: It's the area of uncertainty in determining your precise location.

See Phil0124's reply in this topic: What does the light blue transparent circle mean when you find someone on share your location?

Shared location blue circle - Apple Community discussions.apple.com › thread

If your location can't be determined precisely, you'll see a blue circle around the marker. The size of the circleshows how precisely your location can be determined—the smaller the circle, the greater the precision.

Apparently the circle can be removed on iPhones but don't think there's a similar method for the Maps app on a Mac.
