Large blue circle in Maps

OK, I get it! We need the huge, annoying, large blue circle in Maps. We also need the associated services like Location, time, GPS, blah-blah. We need the ability to diminish the opaqueness or darkness of the silly thing. Is there a way? Thank you.

Maps is dark when navigating Hello, When navigating in Maps if it it dark outside, Maps is getting dark too and I do not see anything on the screen anymore. How can I change to normal colored screen when navigating ? Thanks, Hubert

Maps lately, in driving mode, does not show the streets clearly at all. Only the street names. For some reason the background of streets on the Maps app is exceedingly light. You cannot see the street outlines. Only the street names are dark enough to be legible. Please see sample screenshot attached. I'm sure it's a simple setting adjustment. What is it?

How exactly is this annoying? It just points out the vicinity of your approximate location. Just be grateful they didnt make it blur.

Incidentally, rwscalif, the more specific Feedback would be to go though the Maps -> Report an Issue… menu item.
