Images not showing in Note

All of suddenly images stored in Note are not showing, it's all greyed out but when I hold the image for a sec it displays and when I release it doesn't. This is really weird and frustrating as I have stored some of the important images in my notes.

How can I fix this?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

Hey there ramub,

We agree this is a weird issue, and we'd like to help get those images saved within Notes working right. Let's start with ruling out some possible causes:

We see you're using an iPhone, and the latest version is iOS 14.2. You can check the version within Settings > General > About. Just in case, this link includes the steps to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
If you already have this version installed, let's Restart your iPhone.
If you use iCloud Notes, see if the same issue occurs if you check from a computer using this link: iCloud
If the issue remains afterwards, the next step would be to reach Apple main support here: Get Support
