How to delete Apple Maps data inside icloud ?

I have some maps data on my iCloud backup that is preventing me from using the Apple Maps when I try to delete in the app the app crashes and I cannot add any more data to the app , I tried to do a restore on the phone and the phone and app is running great without any data but when I restore my iCloud Id the data there cannot be deleted and crashes the app ...
