2020 turbotax deluxe won't load, Disappears after saying it is up to date

Try these things:

(1) Can you run the program when logged in as another user? If necessary, create a new user to try.

(2) Uninstall and re-install the program, as if from scratch. No need to delete your tax return file when doing this.

Sorry about that. For some reason. these tax software apps seem to have a high percentage of problems. The only suggestion I can offer is to do a restart in the Safe Mode. Hold down the Shift key on restart and then see if the issue is still there. A Safe Mode restart can take up to ten minutes to complete because the operating system is fixing things and cleaning its caches. Then restart normally and see what happens. This function seems to clear any number of odd problems that crop up. It's worth trying. Good luck to you, George.
