Is there a recall for Macbook 13 (2017) due to logic board problems?

My macbook 13 (made in 2017, bought in early 2019, 2 Thunderbolt, no touchbar, 256ssd) is just dead with just 1y9m old and not a single scratch. Apple Service told me that the warranty is over and they could not solve the problem because my serial numer did not match any quality service program eventhough I have read that lot of people do have the same issue. I had to pay almost $1000 for a new logic board which is very disappointing for a product that should last and a customer service that should work.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
