iPhone 12 Yellow Tint / warm display

Has anyone else noticed a significant color shift from their old phones to the new 12's? My old iPhone X appears to be a lot brighter and less white compared to my 12. Both phones have true tone and night shift off, same level brightness. I went to the Apple Genius Bar and they told me this was how the phones are suppose to be. No matter how much I try to get used to it, the iPhone X display colors just looks better.
