Excel sheet data - replaces folder by accident

hi, I replaced a folder and i can no longer get the excel sheets that were in the origibal folder . i can see a grey blsnk box in the recent documents but when i tey to open i cannot get access. it isnt in my trash either ?

Lost Access to Excel File I have spent over 15hrs developing an Excel workbook on my Windows PC. I noticed today that it had not yet synced to iCloud. So, I thought I would force it by choosing "Free up space" so it would only be in iCloud. Ever since I did that I am unable to access the file and it still does not appear in iCloud. I have tried everything I know of. Rebooted. Shut down iCloud from Task menu. Tried to access on PC w/o iCloud running, etc. I just created a new test file and it is also not syncing. The issue seems to be with files originating in Windows. I have not yet experienced an issue with files originating on Mac. ICloud version is 14.1. Windows version is 11. This is extremely frustrating and I really do not want to have to re-do 15hrs of work.

I am trying to access a number of Excel spreadhseets that I am certain that I have not deleted. One is a folder containing tax docs, and the other spreadsheeets were last accessed on 10/21/21. All of a sudden I cannot find them? Help!!! I can't seem to access a number of Excel files that I accessed as recently as 10/21/21. I upgraded to Big Sure recently and also upgrade to MS 365. Help!!!

Recent MS update has made excel files unusable Since my recent Microsoft update, I can no longer open my excel files. Not good. I can't find any way to recover from anywhere including temporary files. Can anyone help please?

You can restore the folder from your Time Machine backup.
