FaceTime call disconnected after 7min on iPad Air(Wi-Fi) with both iOS 12.4.8 and 12.4.9

Hello,

I have an iPad Air(WIFI - model no# A1474, 16GB) with latest iOS 12.4.9. The problem start with update of iOS 12.4.8. FaceTime call automatically disconnected after 7min. On other side of device(iPad Air WIFI) with same iOS 12.4.8. and 12.4.9.

I waited around 2 months for latest iOS 12.4.9 to resolve the issues. Yesterday, both device got updated with latest iOS 12.4.9, However problem have still existed. I hope next iOS address this issues.

I also tried to resolve the with following steps

Reset and Erase everything, only default iOS apps(minimize memory consumption - 10GB free space/16GB).
Offload unused with reset and erase everything(minimize memory consumption - 10GB free space/16GB).
Restore the iOS(12.4.8 and 12.4.9) from PC using iTunes, without backup(minimize memory consumption - 10GB free space/16GB).

Hello Apple team. today morning myself got solution for this problem. After installing ios 12.4.9 on iphone 6. screen time app turns on. In this screen time there is " Always allowed ". By default it has only 4 allowed apps - Phone. Messages. Facetime. Maps. So for the solution we have to add Camera option also form choose apps down. And then try calling facetime from Iphone 6 with ios 12.4.9 to any other new ios. Facetime will not disconnect. This is a bug for ios 12.4.9. May be apple team in next update ios 12.5 will automatically set to default 5 allowed apps in screen time- Phone. Messages. Facetime. Maps & Camera. Thank you

No, it want resolved the problem. I considered and tried all of scenarios mentioned in the link. Moreover, I already mentioned, the problem started with update of iOS of 12.4.8 and persisted still, with iOS 12.4.9.

I’m having this issue too. Every FaceTime call. Always at about 6m50s. Did you solve it.

I have also a similar problem with iPad Air(iOS 12.4.9 and iOS 12.4.8) for 3 months. I posted the problem three months ago and tried to find a solution. Recently, I found a workaround. For a month, I shift the FaceTime app to the Teams app(Microsoft). The Teams app working fine with iPad (iOS 12.4.9) to iPad (iOS 12.4.9), just like FaceTime.

No, there is not any work around. Apple support is not considering the issues yet.
