Unlock vodaphone iphone

I have jumped through all the hoops to unlock my iphone , however my iphone is still locked well after a month Vodaphone says they have sent all the information to apple ages ago how long does it take apple to unlock a phone? I am having to use vodaphone temp Sims I am sick of paying for these including a different phone number every 2weeks to think i went through all this so I could keep my phone number first iphone very disappointed with lack of service by iphone!
