Playing wav files on iPad

This is more specific than “How do I play a wav file...” My issue is, I record my own music in a Digital Work station and have exported the resulting tracks as wav files. I’d like to know what app to use to be able to play those files, as if they were purchased songs. Can’t seem to find any media folders for Apple Music, Amazon Prime or any other app I’ve tried, I’d like to make playlists of multiple files/songs. What am I missing?

iPad Air, iOS 12

Hello Wingfan14,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about playing .wav files on your iPad.

You have a couple of options for this. You can search for a third-party player that will work. Some options are here in no particular order, but please check the App Store as there are many options available:

VLC for Mobile

Music Player - Player for lossless music

Music Paradise Pro App

You also have the option to use a converter, and then play then in the native player. Again, here are some options in no particular order:

The Audio Converter

Audio Converter - Extract MP3

MP3 Converter: Edit Music file

Cheers.
