Open Scanner Disappeared from Print/Scanner App

I'm currently running Catalina10.17.5 and have all the software updated in MacBook Pro. I had the same issue of Open Scanner option disappearing previously, and all I had to do to get it back was to delete printer from the available printer options and set it anew. This time around, however, the method is not working. I've also powered off and on both the printer/scanner and my notebook. They both have the same wifi point as well. What else can I do to get the scanner back? Thank you for your help in advance.
