2 factor authentication

Trying to set up Apple Cash, it keeps popping up the Apple ID “ does not support 2 factors authentication “

how to fix it?

unable to setup Apple Pay as well. I’m already linked my credit card into the Wallet.

We understand that you are trying to set up Apple Cash, but you are getting a message that your Apple ID does not support 2-factor authentication. Do you have 2-factor authentication set up for your Apple ID? At what point are you getting that message? When you try to set up Apple Cash or setting up 2-factor authentication?


If you do not have 2-factor set up on your Apple ID, you can take a look at the following support article to set it up for your Apple ID: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support


Then take a look at the following support article to set up Apple Pay: Send and receive money with Apple Pay - Apple Support


You may need to to use the "Get Support" button at the bottom of that page.
