Just click the download button. It will download a file named "HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.dmg". Double click that, you'll see .pkj icon when it opens. Double click that -- and an installer "Install Hewlett-Packard Print Software." info box will take you from there.
No idea. It worked on my Mac Mini Late 2012 running 10.15.7.
also which version of Catalina do you have? thx
The latest - 10.15.7, including the recent Supplemental Update.

Well done! I think they must have corrected the issue with apple today- Ive been trying for days to make it work.

that's correct but the Apple link which JimOutsideDC provided worked perfectly with a newer OS update. I think apple has updated the issue since it occurred a couple of weeks ago.
