iPhone 12 pro isn’t showing the animation when connecting magsafe

Restart your phone should solve the issue (power btn + vol up),

and don't forget the animation only works when the device is locked.

I was having this issue with the wallet and cases. I restarted my phone and everything went back to normal. Hope it helps!!!

I had the same issue with my 12 pro blue with the blue leather case.

I restarted the phone and nothing. After that I started putting it on and off for 3-4 times in a row and it started working everytime after the 4th or 5th time.

Now I'm getting the blue MagSafe animation 100% of the time with no problems. (you'll see it rarely anyways because I doubt that you'll take it off to switch the case... This one is amazing. Literally!)

same thing, no animation we’ve been used to on 14.5 (18E5154f) - it works perfect on 14.3 and stopped as soon as I have moved on to the Dev iOS. Since 14.4 and 14.5 I have no animation whatsoever either with or without the apple magsafe transparent case. whether I have the case on or off - same thing no animation but charging works. either 20W or even stronger Anker or Satechi USB-C charging - same thing, nothing to do with power distribution. It is iOS glitch and I can bet it will be fixed along the route but ... WHEN?

I am also having a similar issue. However, mine occurs (or DOESN'T occur) when I am simply putting my MagSafe Leather case on my iPhone 12 Pro. It works for my girlfriend who also has a MagSafe Leather case. The only difference between our phones is hers is a 12 Pro Max and mine is just a 12 Pro.

It should animation when I simply connect the case, but it does not. It does give me the notification ringtone.

I have same issue. it doesn’t matter if it locked or not. Still doesn’t show animation. However when I tried in Apple store while ago the animation was showing.

Not the only one, I’ve restarted too but no animation.
