Why won't my new MacBookPro16,1 detect an external display?

I have two other MacBooks that detect an external monitor connected via the same Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort cable. I literally just unplug it from the new MacBook and plug it into the other MacBook and it works fine.

I've already tried resetting NVRAM and SMC.
