Apple TV and App Compatability

I am unable to download the MX Player App on My Apple TV. The APP is not reflecting in the APP Store. I am able to search and download the same on my iphone and ipad.

Apple TV purchased in 2017 and is running on 14.2 os

Thanks for your help.

MX Media has decided to make an iOS version of their app, but not make a tvOS version. Only they can decide to change that. (iOS apps and tvOS apps have to be developed separately, although they can share much of the same code.)
