password protected pdf prints blank

I have a pdf document that is password protected (which I have), but when i try to print the document, it prints blank

My OS is High Sierra 10.13.6

MacBook Pro

Could it be that the PDF has further password protected user restrictions on it such as no printing allowed? Open the PDF in Preview, and choose Preview's Inspector (⌘+i). In the Inspector's toolbar, click on the lock symbol (Encryption) to see if you have full access to the PDF.



If this is not a PDF that you created, and there are no printing restrictions on it, then it may have been created with internal content that Apple's Preview PDF library cannot process. Try opening and printing it in the current Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro (not the Acrobat Pro Trial).
