Can I add a device purchased by my company to ADE after the fact without having to use Configurator?

We have a number of iPads that were purchased before we ever considered using DEP with Intune. We are now a full Intune shop, and I’d like to get these iPads managed. We don’t have a Mac to install configurator, and we’d like to move away from the sequential Apple IDs we’ve been giving our users so they could install apps on their assigned iPads. Is there a way for us to enroll the devices in ADE without using Configurator? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is not. The only ways to add devices to ABM/ASM are at the time of purchase with an authorized retailer who has linked your customer number with your purchases, or using Apple Configurator 2. If you have Apple devices in your environment, you really need to consider having a macOS device available to help manage/service them.
