Will the iBook Author app still work with Big Sur ?
Presumably not, since Apple removed it from the app store a few months ago, so you can't download it any more, and said it would still work on 10.15 and earlier.

Hi Tom, appreciate the quick reply. Sorry I meant I have iBook Authors on my iMac now (runny on macOS Mojave 10.14.6). I wanted to know if iBook Authors will still be working when I upgrade to Big Sur. I works perfectly on Mojave at present.

I have 2 books that I update each year, I've continued to use iBooks Author on Big Sur. However, I'm now ready to publish and it hangs.
So my question is (and this will impact anyone continuing to use iBooks Author), can you still publish?
Thank you JD & Tom, I am still very reluctant to upgrade to Big Sur......Don't want to spoil my Christmas, might wait until next year.

Thank you I read the thread. I decided to take the plunge and use Pages. When I publish, it tries to connect to iTunes Connect but just spins and doesn't connect. (my Apple ID was fine). I've tried twice, now onto my third attempt.

I recently installed Big Sur and copied iBA to it from Catalina. It seems to open and run ok, but I have not tried to create anything with it.
iBook Author app supported by Big Sur?
