How to delete an Apple watch software update file that has not yet been downloaded or installed. There is no delete button, even when I scroll to the bottom.

I want to delete an Apple watch software update file that has not been downloaded or installed (due to insufficient space available on my Apple 3 watch). I can see the watchOS 7.1 file on my iPhone 11 in the watch app. However there is no delete option, even when I scroll to the bottom of the screen. The only option is "download and install".


I do plan to free up space on my Apple watch by resetting it. However, I wanted to erase this file first, so that it does not automatically download while I am setting up the watch.
