I could not find any recent helpful answers via Google, so wondering - how to delete partially downloaded Big Sur files from the desktop? They take 10gb but I can't find them anywhere

Same situation, can't find it in var folders, so where it dowloaded before installing?
The files are downloaded to "Install macOS Big Sur.app" in /Applications.
To remove the files, just go to /Applications and do a "sudo rm -rf Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur.app/".
