Translate app not working

Translate app not working

Is anyone having issues with the new translate app? I try to use it, but keep getting a consistent message that it is not available. I am using an iPhone 8+.

I’m on an iPhone XR and the translate app does nothing after updating to 14.2

Me too, also on iPhone 8. It worked fine before updating to iOS 14.2

Neither can I see the translate option in Safari on the iPhone 8 but it works fine for my wife on her iPhone 11, and it does work in Safari on my MacBook Pro since updating to Bg Sur.
