"Installation Failed", MacOS Big Sur

On November 12, Big Sur released so I decided to download it. Things were running smoothly and I managed to download 9 of the 12 gigabytes for the update. But then, an error message appeared: "Installation failed: An error occurred while installing the selected updates."

So, I do a bit of research online and sure enough I find out that Apple usually has server issues on the day of a release for a new OS. So I went to their Apple - Support - System Status, and sure enough, they were having issues under "macOS Software Update". So, I decided to wait a bit and then I visited the page later, to my delight, the issue had been "resolved". Given that, I tried to install it again but the error message appeared immediately. So far, I've tried restarting my laptop and waiting a while. Is this something I should be worried about? What should I do now?

1. No, it isn't.

2. Wait longer.
