I was able to finally download macOS Big Sur but the installation fails every time with one of the following two errors. Is it because of the knownApple servers issue or I've somehow corrupted something on my laptop?

I was able to fix my problem by deleting the following file and restarting my computer.
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
I didn't have to delete the macOS Big Sur installer, the installed proceeded successfully after following the step above.

This was not the case for me. After deleted the SoftwareUpdate.plist file and restarting, the existing installer showed the "installer is damaged error." I deleted and reinstalled the installer, only to receive the "error occurred loading the update" message.
Yes— Having this issue as well. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times, did not work.
