International warranty

I am planning to buy an apple iPhone 12 promax from USA an unlocked version. I am concerned whether this phone will have an international warranty and I can get it repaired in India or not?

No it doesn’t.

Warranty support is limited to country of purchase.

Except the EU, they are considered one country.

As per the chat with apple support, they told that an unlocked phone will hve an international warranty.

But in 2018 Aug, I bought 7+ unlocked from Dubai and after some tune i used the warranty in India and they replaced the old phone with a new one.

Service centers outside the USA won't be obligated to honor the warranty and may not be able to replace it with an unit that's functionally identical to the original.
