Hi Everyone! Am trying to install Big Sur, but as soon as the installation finishes, I got an error message saying that "the package installassistant.pkg fails to meet gatekeeper policy".
I looked up Gatekeeper in my System Prefs, and I currently have it set to allow "installation of apps from App Store and identified developers".
I'd have guessed Apple would be #1 on that list...
What should I do? Thanks!

Update: Issue resolved, downloading from App store did fix the issue indeed,
this worked like a charm for me.
Sure however I have already contacted Apple in regards to this matter and they have been informed about this. Nonetheless it wouldn't hurt to report a bug Thanks for the advice.
Would Feedback Assistant work for reporting this?
I also have the same problem. APPLE should get a solution to this pronto. It hurts all Mac users to see that their favourite OS is facing internal problems caused by APPLE itself
Now I see that Gatekeeper is not being used as such, so wonder at the error message.
