Sending Emails to Group Addresses via iOS

I have set up and frequently use about a dozen Group email addresses in Contacts on my iMac.

Is the following really the only way to send an email to a Group email address in iOS 14 on my iPhone and iPad?

Sending group emails on an iPhone or iPad is as simple as creating a new contact in the Contacts app. But, instead of entering one email address, you'll enter all the addresses that you want in the email group. Then, use that one contact to address an email to multiple people simultaneously and quickly.

I can't somehow access those Group email addresses I have already set up?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have some questions about emailing a group of contacts from the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad. You've come to the right place for help.

When you created the group following Create and change groups in Contacts on Mac - Apple Support, did you add email addresses for the contacts? If so, try typing in the name of the group in the To field on the iPhone or iPad, instead of typing in the individual email addresses:
