WARNING about Belkin screen protector for iPhone 12 Pro Max

The screen protector DOES NOT cover the whole glass front of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but only the area with pixels! There remain about 3mm of glass left unprotected, and therefore exposed to scratches, all around the edge of the Belkin screen protector.

Apple support, contacted via chat, seems to consider that this is normal since that is not a "display" area with pixels... Obviously, the notion that one would put a screen protector on the phone to protect the integrity of the way the phone looks seems to be lost on them.

I would return the product if I had not already installed it on the phone!!!

The Belkin one I bought is sold by Apple through the online Apple store, at least in France where I ordered it!

This is why I think they should at least warn users about this "incomplete" screen coverage on their web site!!!!

Just like you, I bought it from Apple, and paid a premium for it, just to be sure I would get the "perfect" fit, and this is far from being the case...
