iCloud tabs not syncing/working

iCloud Tabs has stopped working on all of my devices

iCloud Tabs isn't working on any of my devices. I can't see them from my MacBook Pro (macOS Catalina), nor from my iPhone X (running 14.2). I have quadruple checked and iCloud is on and Safari is checked and everything is correct on each device. It was working fine up until I noticed the issued several days ago. I haven't changed any settings or behaviors or changed any features, but for whatever reason it isn't working anymore. And if it does, my computer shows iPhone tabs from the day before and not current tabs and my phone doesn't show my computer tabs at all anymore. Although it's small, it's a feature of iCloud that I use quite often and it's a nuisance to have it not working properly.

I followed all suggestions on forums and articles to turn off iCloud, turn off Safari, etc. on each device and turn it back on but still nothing. I've restarted and rebooted a plethora of times and it's still the same issue. Does anyone have any insights on what could be causing this issue and how to fix it?

Also having the same issue. Started happening when I got iphone 12. All software up to date. Tried turning safari on and off on icloud. Restarted everything. Please fix this vital feature!!

I did the same thing. Also having trouble with iCloud tabs.

I noticed the issue too when I purchased the iPhone 12 Pro. However, at the same time when I got this new phone, macOS was moving away from Catalina into Big Sur (I haven't upgraded to Big Sur yet). I don't know if this is a result of having a new phone or Big Sur.

I'm leaning towards this might have something to do with the mix of Big Sur and iCloud.

I have an iPad Pro which also isn't seeing iCloud tabs either from my phone or Mac.

iCloud tabs stopped working on my iPhone 12 Pro Max after a did a reset (erasing all content and settings) and restored from an iCloud backup. Since then, I cannot get it to work again, even after following the advice here and elsewhere. As a recent Android switcher, it means I need to go back to Google Chrome until this is resolved, which kinda sucks (I prefer Safari's privacy consciousness). I cannot live without this feature.

It took 3 days but it finally came visible on iPhone. It took only short time for iPad and Mac (not upgraded to Big Sur). The iCloud backup never pulled in the last state of safari with the tabs I had. This was first time doing restore for iCloud. Normally I do the direct transfer option but the apple store / genius desk person refused to let me do it with the screen damaged (but perfectly operational phone). I could have just stepped aside for 15 mins to do it but they refused. Since iCloud backup was deficient and staff policy are inflexible, I got what I got and learn lesson

same here. everything else works perfectly with iCloud. There are a ton of macrumour's website readers with same problem. I've wiped both my iPhones, iPad, and MacBook and no luck..Cleared all website cache, website data, turned safari iCloud off on all devices and deleted data, rebooted, turned back on...It's def. a server side issue, IMHO. Too many having the same problem. There's not many iPhone related troubleshooting I haven't figured out in the since 2007, but this one I haven't.

It worked, until I used the MBP. I think most users are not affected if they don't own a MacOS device, that's my theory right now. I stopped using the MBP for a week and disabled Safari synced tabs and everything worked flawlessly between iPad and iPhone.

I suggest at least you try disabling safari in iCloud on MacOS and see if that fixes sync between any other devices you have (it may take a day or two). By no means is this a solution, but I mainly use chrome on desktop and as default browser, I can rely on continuity from my iOS Safari.

Just noticed my new iPhone (the one i added before noticing issues with Safari's tabs) does not have Hand-off between the iPhone -> iPad. Macbook ->iPhone & iPad -> iPhone & iPhone ->Macbook works, but not from the iPad to the iPhone. Neither Universal Clipboard. Seems im having some kind of iCloud's Key exchange problem

iCloud tabs on my devices have been messed up for at least six weeks. I installed 14.3 on my iPad Pro and SE2 yesterday. After I rebooted, all the tabs disappeared. This afternoon, I saw them reappear on my SE. Yay, I thought. Maybe this is fixed. Alas, they've reappeared, but are more messed up than ever. I have tabs going back months. The ONLY iCloud tab field that's correct is the one on my iMac (10.15.3) pointing back to my iPad.

UPDATE: As I was typing this, iCloud tabs just vanished from my iPad.

Clearly, something is broken.

And yes, I tried all the "things" ... rebooting, signing out, reset network settings, etc ...

It turns out that Apple engineers have released the ones that should be beta in a corrupt way without testing some improvements again at the product level. This bullshit is getting too annoying. Especially macOS and Macbook Pro. I am having the same and multiple problems. They do not respond to feedback and are not interested.
