Menubar in light mode, rest of the os in dark mode

Hello Everybody

I just installed macOS Big Sur and discovered a bug. My whole system is in dark mode (as it was on Catalina), but now after the update, the menu bar seems to not apply the dark theme for some reason.

I attached a screenshot of the problem.

I already tried:

  • Disk check in recovery mode
  • Stopped every application which has a menu bar icon
  • Restart my mac
  • Switching to light mode and back to dark mode

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I own a MacBook Pro 16".

Best regards

The Menu Bar color is now based on your wallpaper rather than the Dark Mode setting. Switch to a darker wallpaper for a dark Menu Bar.
