How do I increase Big Sur system font size? I am finding the new menu bar font almost impossible to read.
A call to Apple support and a really simple configuration fix. Instead of focusing on preferences - accessibility - display ; go to preferences - displays - display and resolution. You can tick scaled and increase the resolution which really helps. You don't lose much at all in terms of sharpness - almost imperceptible, but you gain a lot in terms of system fonts. For those struggling with this... worth a try. Apparently I was not the only person whom she dealt with asking about the same issue. I am hoping Apple captures this systematically and we will soon see 11.01.00 release with more universally accessible system font sizes.
Oh I see! LOL. I will have to keep a magnifying glass at hand! I haven't collapsed one in a while - I keep my stickies on one screen and open and use other screens for working.

Wow, me too! I just went up to Big Sur and am ready to ditch it. The styles are all odd to the eye and there's no help in the helps. They are not as directed at all. THIS is useless!
Thanks for the suggestion and the form. Just did submit it re font size bug...using the form which, by the way, is also poorly designed...last question doesn't allow one to reply "home office"...

Old Toad, I followed your pictured instructions and that didn't EVEN increase font size. Now what? We're all grow wrinkles and need those readers, don'tcha know. Wow. But thank you for trying. Help?
I had no effect on the menu along the top of the screen... little tiny icons that I have to squint at to see.... folders on the desktop are the same as before...

And to respond to myself...my system in this "upgrade" just shuts itself down and refuses to restart without my prodding it. Big Sur...no thank you, Sir (or Ma'm)!!!! I do not like it, no I don't!

So I now have my laptop font size increased...but how about my 2nd screen font size? It didn't increase. Any tips on that question? Thanks so much.
