I just bought a new computer and transferred everything from my passport to new computer. Now I try to back up new computer and it says: Back up not encrypted: Time Machine is backing up an encrypted disk to an unencrypted disk
What can I do? What does that mean?

Just a quick note to point out that if you choose the option to encrypt your backups, the back up process is going to run much slower, so it will take on average 2-3 times longer for time for backups to run compared to non-encrypted backups.

Because you are saving files on an encrypted disk .. the backup by default is not encrypted.. it is a warning that if you want encrypted backup set it in Time Machine. Or for local backup you can use encrypted disk.
write down the password you use because once forgotten it is impossible to recover.

Open System Preferences (the gear icon on the dock)
Open Time Machine
Click the Options button
Look at the bottom of the next window
By default, the backups are not encrypted, so if you don't want to encrypt them, leave the box unchecked
If you want to encrypt the backups, enter a check mark in the box next to that option
