After connecting Apple wireless keyboard model A1316, to and iPad Pro 12.9” on Pad OS 14.2
The keyboard connects, and the iPad returns the following message. “Using Apple Wireless Keyboad May affect WIFI and bluetooth connectivity”
Firmware issue?
The warning normally appears when using Bluetooth devices (such as some keyboards) because both Bluetooth and some WiFi channels occupy the same 2.4GHz Frequency Band. 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth can cause mutual interference with their respective radio signals - degrading performance of one or both devices.
Many more modern devices have strategies to minimise mutual interference between devices - however, where possible, you will both achieve improved performance and eliminate interference issues if you use 5GHz WiFi. Bluetooth will continue to operate at 2.4GHz - whilst your iPad will use 5GHz WiFi Channels.
