I picked up my iPhone 12 pro max yesterday and everything seems to be working except my instagram stories are blurry when reposting, posting or sharing. Tried reinstalling the app several times and still no fix. Anyone experiencing this?

I've had iPhones since the first one. This has never happened to me up until a few days ago when I got the iPhone 12. I actually had another friend try it on her 11 and the image is reposted clearly. I contacted Instagram and they think its a bug with IOS and the new iPhone. I dont think it's the compression as I can repost other posts from high end brands with HD posts and still get blurry stories.
I am having the same problem ! Is there a way to fix it ? I have try everything! Even editing the videos on other apps before posting them as a story ! But the result was worst ! Please if someone Figures out how to fix it, share it with us !! I have iPhone 12
It’s so annoying like in my iPhone 11 Pro Max everything looked good and now iPhone 12 Pro Max quality in my gallery all good but once I upload to Instagram they literally loose all the quality looks all blurry like such an expensive phone to be experiencing quality issues lol even tho I am pretty sure is an Instagram issue it’s quite frustrating since for me quality in your videos and pictures are really important
I have the exact same problem! And I can't wrap my head around the fact that it has been an issue since the new phones were launched and nothing has happened ever since? I bought my iphone 12 pro only 10 days ago and I can't believe how bad the quality is on Instagram. Stories are blurred and dull and I feel like only stories from people who use an iPhone 12 as well are looking good. I don't get it. It's so annoying!
They are blurry and the original post is not. Even when I re-post other peoples posts onto my stories the images repost blurry.

Mine is also weird! Not only is it blurry, but it’s not sized correctly. The top of the image extends too far into the top of my phone

Blurry or dull? The black levels on my Instagram stories are completely out of whack, the videos look dull and washed out.

Oh, this looks like the usual Instagram story compression to me.
Probably not what you want to hear but I don't see anything odd here.

I’m having the exact same issue I’m a photographer trying to share my shared images to my story and they all appears blurry! Really hope they have a quick fix to this! I’m using the iPhone 12 pro max
I upgraded from an XS Max to a 12 pro max, I’m keeping the xs until this is fixed by either Instagram or Apple
Apple support just links to how to troubleshoot apps. Waiting for either Instagram or Apple to fix it.
