Lost access to ATT email

Have two iPhones that have lost connectivity to ATT email updates. Screen says Account Error No Password Provided for ATT". Go to Mail Account Setting and Enter a Password. Have followed instructions and entered ATT email password on iPhones but still no connectivity. Same password works on desktop.
