Question

can't post pictures to facebook after safari upgrade

I upgraded to Safari 14.0.1 and now I can't access my photos to post pictures on Facebook. is this a Safari issue or a Facebook issue or just my computer?

karina 184, thanks for the response.

My problem was solved by Apple support. They had me use a work around to create a new folder for photos to upload to Facebook.

Then the issue was solved when I updated to Big Sur. Now I'm not having any problems putting photos on Facebook.

I'm sorry I forgot to update my question in Support.

We understand you are no longer able to access your photos through Safari on the Facebook website and we're happy to help. First, are you able to access your photos from the Apple Photos app? Are you getting an error message on Safari when trying to access them through Facebook? Have you tried restarting the Mac using the steps here: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac to see if it resolves the issue?
