This was asked before a couple months ago for logic 10.5.0, but no one can seem to answer it. I updated to logic 10.6.0 and select waves v10 plugins do not seemingly work with Logic anymore. I will attempt to open them in the mixer and the application crashes. Here's the report. I've already emailed waves and I'm awaiting a response from someone. Please Help!

To be honest, I don't understand the discussion. Waves v10 under Catalina is officially not supported, although there might be some workarounds. You should update to at least v11.
No mystery, Waves v 10 isn't compatible with Catalina:

My understanding is many users don't read.
Many plugin developers used now deprecated APIs/Frameworks or some trickery. They now face forward portability issues and may not have the resources to deal with them.

I'm on Catalina and Waves plugins do work. But two of them are making Logic crash: J-37 Saturation and Kramer Master Tape
I'm having the exact same problem. j-37 and Kramer Master Tape worked fine on Mac OS Catalina and Logic 10.5.1. After the update to Logic 10.6, I open the plugin in the channel strip and Logic crashes!
Well it seems they did.

My main v10 plugins worked fine in Catalina. It wasn't until I updated to 10.6 that plugins like SmackAttack, J37 Saturation Tape, and Torque crashed the computer, but other v10 plugins work.
The consistent culprits are:
Wild guess, but based on the System Report, seems it has to do with the GateKeeper blocking the code from running illegal instructions?
System Integrity Protection: enabled
Crashed Thread: 34 CVDisplayLink
Termination Signal: Illegal instruction: 4
-[NSOpenGLContext update] must be called from the main thread if the context has a view.
I tried turning off the gatekeeper with the following (source):
sudo spctl --master-disable
It was a worthy attempt, but it didn't work. I don't want to believe that Waves would leave us out to dry like that.
Disabling SIP is bad for security and I am not aware of any Audio Unit has would profit from this. The reason why Waves now fails hard, is that macOS now detects that it does something bad (which creates instability in the form of latent crashes). In the past these things were pretty hard for developers to detect, but now macOS clearly states what went wrong.
Long story short: you need to update Waves AUs to get this fix.
All the Waves API plugins, doubler, CLA, everything else is working, except those two I've mentioned: J37 and kramer tape =(
