Sidecar system requirements
Sidecar requires a compatible Mac using macOS Catalina or later and a compatible iPad using iPadOS 13 or later.

thanks .. I did it. But unfortunately nothing improve. Still I can't use the sidecar. I have choose the same wifi netwoork and I am connected via bluetooth.
Sorry guys but first time I have to say that iOS is ***** :(
I don't know what to do and don't know why it is not working!
I'm sorry to hear that, as far as I remember that was the thing that worked for me.
Try one more thing: log out if your iCloud account on the iPad and then log back in. I think I did that simultaneously, but can't remember exactly.
First of all I would like to thank you for your help and assistance.
I will do it tomorrow and I will give ou feedback.
I hope it will works but in the past I log off and log in on the iPad Air2 os14.3 and it won't help ...
Hi all. Had some JOY.
Go to Iclound preferences on the computer you are using to connect to the IPAD.
scroll down the list of devices until you see the ipad.
Just click it . . . leave for a minute then go to the menu bar and connect.
just worked for me!
DEEP JOY
I faced this issue on my M1 air . The Ipad just did not show up on the mac. I even tried signing out the apple account on both the air and the Ipad and then re logging in after a restart and no luck.
But this is what made it work like a charm or maybe I was a fool that i did not know this. Just turned on the bluetooth on both the Mac and the Ipad and it instantly showed up on the Mac for pairing.
Hope this helps someone.
I tried everything I could find online: Logging in and out of iCloud. Rebooting. Turning Wifi on and Off. Everything was fine, but it still would not work. Then, I found this short message on Reddit, and to my very surprise that worked.
"Sidecar still shows 'No Devices' for me but right clicking the green minimize button on the browser window and clicking 'Move to XXX's iPad' suddenly activates Sidecar on my iPad."
Minimize a Finder window and then click in the dock the minimized icon. My iPad then showed up in the sidecar preferences connect tab.
Yes, it works previously on MacOS Catalina.
Yeah, it does work on Catalina.
Hmm, seems like yours is not working as well now.
I read somewhere it doesn't work in Big Sur beta, thought they have fix it by now.
I read somewhere it doesn't work in Big Sur beta,
I can refute that.
FWIW, I can connect my iMac Pro running Big Sur 11.0.1 and my 1st generation(I think) 12.9" iPad Pro running iPadOS 14.2.
I don't have an inkling on how to troubleshoot your problem.
seems like we are on the same boat
I have the same issue but if you use cabling connection is working
thanks for the tip. but it kind of defeat the purpose of seemlessness
After spending a couple days trying to get this to work, I finally turned off iCloud on my iPad and back on. That seemed to fix the issue and now Sidecar works flawlessly.
Hope this helps!
I have the same problem :-(
After other multiple problems I'm starting to realize that "Big Sure" is for sure the biggest ****.
